Honolulu Zoo happenings
We were checking out the new Honolulu Zoo ectotherm (the reptile house replacement) and was so pleased to see a sign announcing the return of the sun bears. I can’t wait to see them back in their old neighborhood near the elephants and reptiles.
Monk seal missing
I wish the Waikiki Aquarium had announced sooner that it was shutting down the monk seal exhibit for renovations yesterday. We would have stopped by. The cute critters won’t be accessible to the public until their new digs are ready in the spring.
