Happy birthday, aquarium!
The Waikiki Aquarium is celebrating its 114th year with a party 9 am. to 2 p.m. March 31. There will be games, face painting, music and a giant inflatable monk seal! https://www.waikikiaquarium.org/interact/special-events/114th-birthday-celebration/
Monk seal missing
I wish the Waikiki Aquarium had announced sooner that it was shutting down the monk seal exhibit for renovations yesterday. We would have stopped by. The cute critters won’t be accessible to the public until their new digs are ready in the spring.
