Full moon celebration

Bishop Museum is honoring the Tsukimi No Kai, the Japanese practice of full-moon viewing  5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 25. There will be an offering, blessing and tea ceremony, plus taiko drumming and food tastings. The planetarium and the Science Adventure Center will be open to guests. Telescopes will be set up by the  Hawaiian Astronomical Society for a closer look at the night sky. Tickets are $15 adults and $10 kids at www.bishopmuseum.org/special-events.
