Aloha Festivals returns with the ocean-centric theme, “No Ke Kai Kakou E – We are of the Sea.” Sept. 15 is the Pearlridge Keiki Hoolaulea with events, crafts and entertainment at the mall from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Next weekend on Sept. 22, Kalakaua Avenue will be closed for the 66^th Annual Waikiki Hoolaulea 7 to 10 p.m. There will be booths with food, crafts and culture demonstrations plus performances on stage with music and hula halau.
