Sometimes in this world of excess, it’s hard to convey to kids how lucky they are. That’s where The Compassion Experience comes in. This free interactive event teaches kids what life is like in in developing countries like Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic. The 2,000-square-foot exhibit takes visitors into recreated homes, markets and schools. The Compassion Experience will be set up at Kaiser High School from 11 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. July 13-16. https://cts.compassion.com/events/1032
