The Keiki Rainbow Run is a 1.2-mile fund-raising run at the University of Hawaii’s Clarence T.C. Ching Field March 16. All keiki runners will get a T-shirt, snack and can enjoy post-run activities. The run starts at 8 a.m. Register at http://flpregister.com/405. Funds benefit Hawaii schools.

The University of Hawaii at Manoa is hosting its annual Department of Physics and Astronomy Open House 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 in Watanabe Hall. The free event is geared at high school students, teachers and adults and will have stations at eight locations in the building, plus lab tours and demonstrations.
