STEM opportunity

The University of Hawaii at Manoa is hosting its annual Department of Physics and Astronomy Open House 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 in Watanabe Hall. The free event is geared at high school students, teachers and adults and will have stations at eight locations in the building, plus lab tours and demonstrations. Get ready for football

Bring your little football fans to the University of Hawai’i Warrior Spring Game April 28 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. The free event will give fans of all ages the opportunity to play games get some snacks and get a first look at the 2018 Rainbow Warriors. Gates open at 3 p.m., with the team introduction at 4:45 p.m., followed by drills and a scrimmage, hosted by Bobby Curran.
