It’s volleyball time

Get a first look at this year’s University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team while seeing some familiar faces from the past at the free alumni match at 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Stan Sheriff Center. College role models

Take your little baseball, soccer or beach volleyball player’s skills to the next level with the University of Hawaii’s sports camps and clinics. University of Hawaii Head Baseball Coach Mike Trapasso will be available for your ball players July 21-22 for pitching camp 9 a.m. to noon ($100) and hitting camp 1 to 4 p.m. ($100). Rainbow Wahine Soccer Youth Camp is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 23-26 ($150). Rainbow Wahine Beach Volleyball Summer Camp for girls from ages 11-18 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 24-26 ($335). Register and more details here.

Get ready for football

Bring your little football fans to the University of Hawai’i Warrior Spring Game April 28 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. The free event will give fans of all ages the opportunity to play games get some snacks and get a first look at the 2018 Rainbow Warriors. Gates open at 3 p.m., with the team introduction at 4:45 p.m., followed by drills and a scrimmage, hosted by Bobby Curran.
