Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade winds its way through Waikiki from Ft. Derussy down Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park at 6 p.m Dec. 7. A decorated Cobra helicopter joins the floats and bands in honor of the Pearl Harbor survivors, veterans and active duty military and their families. Spectators will receive a free “Traveling P-40” magnet.

Consider taking the kids for a trip back in time at the Pearl Harbor Virtual Reality Center. Visitors can experience the attack on Battleship Row, explore the deck of the Arizona prior to the attack and tour the Arizona Memorial through the VR headsets. Patriotic picnic
On June 15, Picnic on the Pier returns with a dockside view of the Battleship Missouri Memorial while you enjoy your sunset picnic 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Ford Island. Bring your own food and drinks (no glass containers or grills), or buy something from Tin Hut BBQ and Honolulu BeerWorks on site. There will be keiki activities and yours of the battleship. Admission is $10 adults and $5 kids presale of $15 and $10 respectively at the door. Free round-trip shuttle service from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
