Vacation planning

It’s nearly the end of the school year. If you’re planning a trip to the mainland and have an incoming or outgoing fourth grader in tow, check out the National Park Service’s Every Kind in a Park program. Fill out some info online and get your fourth grader a year’s free admission to any National Park. Whether your going to take a sunrise drive up Haleakala, explore the melting ice caps of Glacier National Park or camp by Half Dome at Yosemite, there are fabulous experiences for every kid out there.  https://www.everykidinapark.gov/get-your-pass/

The Great Outdoors

Next week is National Park Week so if you live on Maui or the Big Island, or will be visiting, plan a trip to Haleakala or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and receive free entry on April 21. There will also be special programs and activities April 21-29 to mark the event.  Find out more about the free entry at this link A Fee Free Day or more about your local parks at www.nps.gov.
