Gunstock Ranch is hosting it’s annual Easter egg hunt and petting zoo on March 31. The hint starts at 10 a.m. but parking can be a challenge o get there early. Horseback rides will be $3; bounce houses, $2. Or, if you have some time to get into the Easter spirit, help prep for the event on March 30 as volunteers will dye 4,000 eggs and stuff 4,000 more with toys and candy at 9 a.m. at the Gunstock Pool Pavilion. http://gunstockranch.com/events/special-events/

Support the Bows, Hunt for Eggs
Bring your Easter basket to the UH men’s volleyball game March 30. There will be an Easter egg hunt at the Stan Sheriff Center (check in at Gate B) at 5 p.m. for kids ages 12 and younger. Kids can collect candy and prizes before watching the team take on UC San Diego. Go Bows!
Easter fun and books
We love books almost as much as we love holiday events. Get your fix of both at the Makiki District Park Easter egg hunt and book sale. The hunt is at 9 a.m. followed by Easter bunny photos, games, and a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park is at 1527 Keeaumoku St.

Kaimuki Community Park is putting on their Easter Egg Hunt after taking a year off to remodel their gym. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. March 24 at Kaimuki Community Park, 3521 Waialae Ave.

The Waipahu Public Library is hosting some spring break fun with a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt 5-7 p.m. March 21 for keiki ages 2-12.Call 675-0358 for more information or to register.
